Management Accountant

Tasmanian Oyster Co is committed to being the leader in sustainable oyster production, striving for best practice and continuous improvement in the management of the environment in which we operate.The roleThis is a role for a Management Accountant who doesn't want to be seen as a traditional number-cruncher, someone who demonstrates ownership and initiative in upholding the accuracy and reliability of our financial information, and actively supports our ambitious strategic goals.In our administration team, we operate on the belief that we're here to support our internal customers, not the other way around. We're searching for an individual who shares this view - someone with a dedicated attitude towards working closely with our internal customers, playing a crucial role in the continued success of our growing business.The person in this role will be based at our office in southern Tasmania. It's a full-time, permanent role, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The role will include the normal stuff - completing month-end accounts, supporting the Finance Officer with management of accounts payable/receivable, preparation of payroll, assisting with end of year processes, forecasting, budgeting, and re-forecasting. You will also have the opportunity to assist with business analytics and project-related accounting tasks.About YouWe're looking for someone who is excited about this opportunity and driven to do well.
