About the role The Management Accountant is responsible for the analysis of operational performance and provision of management reports to the leadership team on site and head office. You will build relationships and engage with stakeholders to ensure the timely provision and integrity of key reporting data and subsequent preparation of reports and data analysis. Key responsibilities in this position also include: Providing accurate and timely monthly management reports Executive and operational analysis of financial results Monthly financial reconciliations and management of corporate governance standards Preparing of ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested Identifying and establishing analysis tools for cost drivers to drive cost savings Lifestyle friendly 8/6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance or live residential in Cloncurry and receive a local living allowance Eligible for quarterly bonus Company share ownership plan, complimentary life insurance and income protection Future opportunities to work interstate or overseas About you To succeed in this role, you will be a proven Management Accountant with experience driving accounting performance (ideally associated with the resources or construction industry) and have proven skills in reporting and analysis within a large organisation. It is important that you have/ or can demonstrate: Proven ability to prepare, analyse, profile and present data, in a structured and logical format, confident in communicating, sensitive and complex financial information. Tertiary University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a technical discipline and ideally Chartered Accountant/CPA (support in completion offered) Experience in financial and management costs reporting Motivated and excellent communication skills, Willingness to work in a high performing team environment and flexibility in respect to work demands At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
