This full-time role provides crucial support and delivery of accurate reporting and analysis in line with accounting standards, regulations, contracts & decision-making - mainly working with our Supporter Impact team.
Working 3 days a week from our brand-new purpose-built workspace nestled at Milton's Park Road, and accessible by multiple public transport options, join a respectful, transparent, and collaborative team at MS Queensland where values are at the core.
A 4-day, 30-hour week option is also available, if that's right for you!
Additionally, you will: Prepare timely monthly financial reports and variance analysisImprove efficiency across systems like Raiser's Edge and XeroHandle requests for new bank accounts, payment platform changes, event terminals, and cash floatsAssist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecastsManage financial administration of lotteries and grant-funded activitiesLiaise with internal and external stakeholdersGuide staff to achieve functional objectives through coachingFoster a positive team environment encouraging collaborationDevelop team capability through mentoring and trainingAbout you: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, with 2 years in a similar role in medium to large organisationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or CommerceCurrent CPA or CA certificationExpertise in financial and regulatory aspects of lotteries, grants, and fundraisingProficient in accounting software like XeroStrong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environmentsExcellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills for multiple deadlinesSelf-motivated with high accountability and initiativeOutstanding interpersonal skills for consulting stakeholders at all levelsWhy MSQ?
