Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role is crucial for driving financial insights, supporting strategic decisions, and advocating for process improvements and governance across the organisation.Management Accountants are business partner with a variety of stakeholders, so we are looking for someone who can tell a story about the numbers or data, assist in the development of strategies and then execute on them!Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, focusing on budget variance and performance metrics.Monitor, report, and provide insights on manufacturing costs, including materials, labour, and overheads, to identify trends and improvement areas.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business development analysis and financial modelling.Implement and improve accounting processes and finance systems, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Manage comprehensive inventory controls and conduct reconciliations to maintain an accurate stock status.Provide relief coverage for the Finance Manager as needed and serve as a primary point of contact for accounting queries.Some BAU Accounts such as assisting with the Month End, FBT and Reconciliations.About YouYou are a forward-thinking Management Accountant with a solid background in the manufacturing sector, known for your strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
