The Role Responsible for the division EOM process and preparation of P&Ls for multiple entities with multiple sites; Prepare commentary on balance sheet and P&L variances; Maintain accuracy of the general ledger; Work closely with the GMs/RPs/CCSs to analyze, understand and explain monthly financial results and assist with their reporting; Prepare the quarterly dividend calculations for the CCSs; Assist with various projects and business improvement initiatives; Assist with the year-end audit including working with external auditors; Ad hoc duties as required to support the wider team. What you will bring Degree in Commerce or Business with a major in Accounting; CA/CPA qualified; Minimum 2+ years of commercial experience; Have a thorough understanding of Australian accounting and taxation systems; Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment; Demonstrate a hands-on approach to an accounting role; Exceptional time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines; Excellent data accuracy, coupled with high attention to detail; Ability to adapt to new software programs; Working rights in Australia.
