Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Management Accountant to become an integral part of their dynamic team. This full-time role is crucial in delivering financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple entities. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller, primarily responsible for operations across NSW & QLD.Key Responsibilities:Document financial transactions and calculate the cost of goods sold and other expenses.Generate periodic financial statements and measure business unit performance over time.Allocate resources based on profitability or similar criteria, aiding in future operation planning.Plan for capital expenditures to replace assets that are being used up.Assist in estimating the cost of completing proposed new projects and provide data for the budgeting process.Conduct comprehensive analysis of complex financial matters and business performance, delivering detailed reports and recommendations.Evaluate and enhance inventory data and reporting systems, identifying opportunities for inventory optimisation.Maintain and refine financial models to meet budgeting and forecasting needs.About You:Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related field.Accreditation or progress towards CPA/CA certification.Previous experience in management accounting in mining or manufacturing industries is highly valued.Strong financial knowledge, including expertise in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Proficiency in using ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement and optimisation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.To apply please click apply or call Peter McEntee on 07 3032 2225 for a confidential discussion.About the job
