Reporting to the CFO, this is an immediate vacancy.You will be responsible for:Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget;Providing commentary on management reports;Preparation of cashflow forecasts;Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre;Play a lead role in compiling the annual budget with senior management;Analysing trends and financial performance across business units;Month-end accounting including reconciliations and journals;Supervising and training junior staff;Taking part in systems and process improvement initiatives.The PersonTo be considered for this role, you will have:Experience with forecasting and budgeting;Experience with Cheops preferred;Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards;Ability to analyse complex reports;Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts to non-finance staff;Organised and structured in daily duties;Excellent attention to detail;Team player and ability to establish strong relationships;Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate business partnering;Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously;Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages;Relevant Business/Finance related degree;Professional Accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA preferred but not essential.If you want to be part of the Woollam team and are looking for an exciting career, apply today!
