Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will provide effective support across all People & Culture initiatives. You will be supporting a wide range of stakeholders and operational leaders, whilst promoting best practice P&C initiatives. This role will have you working across the employee lifecycle and be the first point of contact for day-to-day as well as more complex queries across the business.

Primary Responsibilities: Review of policies and procedures Assisting with performance evaluations, goal setting, and performance improvement plans for employees. Actively participate in performance and disciplinary matters, preparing relevant documentation as required. Implement staff engagement, reward and recognition initiatives to build a collaborative and supportive culture. Complete monthly reporting and assist in other reporting procedures. Assist management such as Managers and Supervisors to lead, coach and develop their staff to enhance capabilities and improve performance. Provide support with handling employee issues including performance management, grievances, staff support and wellbeing, industrial relations, agreements/Modern Awards. Coordinating training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities for employees. What we need from you: Degree qualified in HR or another relevant area, with relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 4 years' experience in a P&C Generalist position. Exposure to a blue-collar experience will be highly regarded. Ability to interpret and advise on Modern Awards, IR, legislation, and regulations combined with knowledge of contemporary HR trends and practices. Being professional, approachable and warm in style upholding effective stakeholder management. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and with a team. Effective problem solving, delivering solution-based outcomes with high time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
