Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force's 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ's and three Dassault Falcon 7X's Business Jets.
Your role:
As the Maintenance Watch – Tech Officer in our SPA programme, you'll manage Deferred Defects across our aircraft fleet, ensuring timely access to necessary instructions and parts for defect resolution. You'll work closely with SPA Continuing Airworthiness Services (CAM Services) and the SPA Aircraft Maintenance Organisation (AMO) team to ensure maintenance meets regulatory standards and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Deferred Defects and ensure timely access to ICAs and parts. Conduct research and investigations to support defect management. Collaborate with CAM Services and AMO teams for regulatory compliance. Provide timely status updates to internal and external stakeholders. Use expertise in maintenance documentation, procedures, and regulations. Manage high-priority tasks to maintain fleet compliance and operations. About You:
Degree or diploma in aviation, or qualifications as an AME/LAME. Strong understanding of maintenance control systems and regulations. Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination. Excellent communication skills across multidisciplinary teams. Proficient in aircraft scheduling software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Access). Ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA baseline security clearance. What we Offer:
