With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Tatura location which currently employs over 400 employees.
About the OpportunityReporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings ensuring all tasks are performed in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner.
If you enjoy variety and a challenge in your role, this may be the opportunity for you, where each day is likely to be different, and where you could be performing maintenance or installation work on mobile plant and equipment, pumps and irrigation lines, fruit processing/packing lines and box assembly equipment.
Key AccountabilitiesWorking in a growing maintenance team, your key responsibilities will be:
Conduct and carry out the maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings as specified on the work order.Conduct and carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.Operation of plant and equipment as part of completing tasks.Report on workshop inventory.Maintain maintenance records in the allocated system.Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for plant and equipment.Participate in a roster that provides support to staff and farm in emergency breakdown situations.About YouDemonstrated mechanical aptitude.A high commitment to following safe work practices.Pump, plumbing and irrigation experience (desirable).Mig and Arc Welding experience (desirable).Working with small motor experience (desirable).We recognise the value that a diverse and inclusive culture brings, and actively employ people from various cultural backgrounds, genders, ages and skillsets to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of society.
