Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth and to continue our focus on excellence in all facets of operations, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Maintenance team based at our Tatura location, which currently employs over 400 employees.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be primarily involved with the maintenance of plant, equipment, and buildings, ensuring tasks are performed in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner. With each day presenting new challenges and a variety of work, this role will suit someone who has a high level of problem-solving skills and is able to react quickly to address any issues that may arise.
Your key responsibilities will include: Maintenance of fixed and mobile plant, equipment and buildings as specified on work orders delivered through the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) MEXFabricate and assemble metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precise measuring instrumentsFault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment including manufacturing and packing linesProcurement of partsCarry out scheduled preventative maintenance and the ability to complete critical breakdown maintenance in a timely mannerOperation of maintenance plant and equipmentParticipate in a roster that provides support to staff and farm in emergency breakdown situationsAbout you: Be a qualified Fitter and Turner, Fitter Welder, Electrician, Boiler maker or similar trade qualificationPrevious experience in fitting out a packing facility / installation of manufacturing equipment including automation of equipment (desirable)Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitudeHold a current driver's licenseExperience with CMMS MEX, or similar software system, a forklift license and EWP ticket is highly desirableBe able to work a 38-hour-a-week over 5 daysFlexible with weekend work when necessary during emergency breakdownsWhy work for us: We are Australia's largest glasshouse producer of fresh fruit and vegetablesSupportive team environment, approachable leadersComprehensive Orientation and Training programmes for all staff new to the business or new to a job roleSustainability is a core pillar for Flavorite and we have a number of exciting projects underway in this spaceWe prioritise innovation and process improvement, implementing the latest technologies to increase efficiencies and productionWe recognise the value that a diverse and inclusive culture brings, and actively employ people from various cultural backgrounds, genders, ages and skillsets to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of society.
