About the role: We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our maintenance team. Based at our new facility in Scoresby, your main responsibilities will be:
Attend any equipment breakdowns during operation and resolve issues in a timely manner.Implement preventative maintenance schedules across all manufacturing equipment, provide detailed reports of work completed, and recommend any unplanned maintenance activities that need to be scheduled.Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with approved third-party suppliers.Participate in equipment evaluation and installation of new equipment as the company develops new processes and procedures.Where required, complete maintenance activities at our Melbourne retail outlets.We are looking for a hands-on professional who is good with tools and has excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work as part of a team or autonomously and in line with our occupational health and safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Implement our maintenance schedules and provide replenishment orders for consumables. Maintain time and maintenance records.Assist RNC staff in resolving work problems/equipment performance issues.Confer with other colleagues to coordinate maintenance activities.Partner with RNC team members to improve our OH&S and facilities culture.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.Provide daily/weekly reports as required.Other duties may, from time to time, be assigned.Skills and Experience: 6 years' experience in a hands-on manufacturing maintenance role.Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.Knowledge of general maintenance methods.Able to draft routine reports and correspondence.Able to communicate issues/problems effectively to non-technical managers/employees.Qualifications: Trade qualification or equivalent from a college or technical school.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A competitive package will be provided commensurate with relevant skills and experience.
