The key responsibilities of the role include: Maintenance and Reliability: You'll conduct high-level electrical and control maintenance, ensuring our plant operates at peak efficiency and reliability. You'll play a key role in refining maintenance processes and implementing improvements.Technical Expertise: As a subject matter expert you will evaluate plant condition and make recommendations relating to defect repairs and modifications. Provide expert technical advice on breakdowns, faults and contingency planning.Project Leadership: You'll lead and contribute to small projects from design to installation, ensuring effective execution. In addition, you'll provide direction and advice for critical and complex projects related to monitoring and control systems.Teamwork and Development: To promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork you will lead, mentor and guide apprentices, trainees and team members. When needed you will guide small teams, assisting the Leading Hand/Team Leader with resource allocation and monitoring work progress.Resource Management and Documentation: You'll deliver planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, focusing on system improvements for monitoring work progress and support procurement and inventory management for spare parts. With a high level of attention to detail you will prepare and update drawings and documentation to align with Delta's Standards.Safety and Compliance: You'll prioritise safety in every task, rigorously adhering to company standards and legal requirements to ensure the safest possible work environment.About You: You have a trade certificate in electrical, electronics, instrumentation or other relevant qualifications, and have had the opportunity to hone your skills in real-world settings.
