Maintenance Technician

Exciting Opportunity for a Maintenance FitterWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team and contribute to the success of our production machinery operations.
Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify and resolve problems.Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment downtime and reduce costs.Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.Requirements:NZQA Level 4 Certification in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.Electrical Service Technician (EST) or EWRB registered Electrician with mechanical expertise.Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter is preferred, but not essential.Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality maintenance and repair work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.Good communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and resolve issues.What We Offer:A competitive hourly rate of $47.00 + allowance.A Monday to Friday schedule with flexibility to tackle different shifts as needed.Tools of Trade and on-site parking facilities.A collaborative and supportive work environment.At Programmed, we value diversity and inclusion and are committed to creating a safe and respectful workplace.
