Immediate Start Fixed term contract (12 months) $60 p/h Programmed Trades team are currently looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician Coordinator to work with our client located in Laverton North.

Position is for an immediate start on day shift for a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role: Our client are seeking to engage a Maintenance Technician Coordinator to coordinate, supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of contractors ensuring all work permits and requirements have been met before work can commence.
You will be responsible for coordinating and assisting in the maintenance of all operational equipment and activities across the site to maximise safety, reliability and efficiency.
You will also coordinate, support and guide other maintenance team members, external contractors, safety, quality and site management.

Key Requirements: Australian recognised Trades certificate as a Vehicle Mechanic or any other technical qualification/experience related to machinery maintenance Ensure all maintenance and other work is completed to the required standard Ensure contractors adherence to site policy and standards Provide training, ongoing support and guidance to new maintenance members Demonstrate effective conflict resolution abilities Good communication skills High risk tickets are advantageous About you: Proven trades experience Forklift Licence and experience is essential Experience in machinery maintenance or good understating of mechanical equipment used in warehousing Working in a team environment Demonstrated commitment to safety Enjoys working in a team Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle About us: Programmed Trades are a specialised division within Programmed Victoria and Tasmania who focus on recruiting qualified Trades workers.
