DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Technicians to join the team at our Fulfillment Center (FC) in Jandakot.
Please note that the current day shift pattern includes 10 hour shifts x 4 days, including working one day during weekends.
Key job responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians. Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues.
You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our site's equipment to make sure it's working safely.
As an RME Technician, you'll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible.
You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keeps our equipment performing at its best.
We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.
Our team handles most aspects of Amazon's technical side, including keeping buildings legally compliant, ensuring safety, and operating at maximum efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Formal trade qualifications: Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Cert lll in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner)Experience of planned preventative maintenance systemsExperience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systemsAbility to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawingsExperience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/invertersExperience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience of computer maintenance systems (CMMS)Experience of sortation machinesExperience in an industrial environmentExperience of maintaining/configuring bar code scannersExperience of print and apply machines Acknowledgement of country:
