Local location: Gladstone DepotType of Scheduled work: Monday-Friday 8am -4pmAttractive salary and fortnightly payOne of Australia's largest privately owned Transport and Logistics CompaniesClose-knit team with supportive management and career development within the companyAll PPE and uniforms provided, including steel cap bootsAttractive team benefits, stability, and exciting national growth opportunitiesRIPPA values-driven company with a serious safety cultureCareer development with extraordinary opportunities on a national scaleDiscounts on one of Australia's largest health insurance companiesFast-growing organisation, with excellent training, progression, and supportTasks & Responsibilities: Provide support to the maintenance department, including managing lease and company assets, scheduling meetings, and coordinating vehicle movements.Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of Lease and company fleet.Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, protocols, and standards to ensure compliance and efficiency.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate maintenance activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.Monitor and track maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, defects, and inspections, to ensure timely completion and compliance with standards.Monitor 3rd party contractor invoicing and quotes for cost control and or overruns.Analyse maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Assist with and provide support with the management of breakdowns, also work on developing a process for afterhours calls with the Nexus Centre.Skills & Experience: Proven 3+ experience in maintenance support or a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Familiarity with maintenance practices, procedures, and terminology.Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated area as needed.Why Join Centurion?
