Maintenance Supervisor (Quarry Equipment)AAMG has been engaged by our client to find them a Maintenance Supervisor (Quarry) to manage a small team of tradespeople and maintain a fleet of mobile & fixed plant quarry equipment at a small Quarry located in Tenterfield, NSW.
About the Role:The Maintenance Supervisor role is a "partially on the tools" position, responsible to keep fixed and mobile plant and equipment running at its optimum, by providing in-house mechanical repairs, service and maintenance. Specifically, crushers, screens and other mobile earthmoving and quarrying equipment. The purpose of the role is to eliminate costly downtime and to lower our operating costs, ensuring safety compliance and fostering a positive working environment.The Maintenance Supervisor is site-based, providing effective plant availability and the highest asset value for the lowest cost. This role will provide effective and efficient technical advice and administrative support in planning and management of mechanical repairs, service and maintenance to achieve industry best practice. It is an imperative part of this role that this person has an excellent understanding of machinery and mechanical, hydraulic and electrical concepts and is able to think logically and methodically under pressure.The Maintenance Supervisor will create and sustain a culture of continual improvement, innovation and efficiency. They are responsible for fostering a positive atmosphere, promoting proactive and effective communication, facilitating problem solving and for minimising and resolving conflict in a constructive manner.
