Located near West Wyalong in central New South Wales, Cowal is a residential site where we encourage our people to live nearby and enjoy the close-knit communities and lifestyles of the surrounding areas.Your benefits include:Relocation assistanceSalary packaging, vehicle, housing options, life and income protectionBonus' including short and long-term incentivesRecognition programStudy assistanceDiscounted health insurance and gym membershipConvenient and comfortable bus transportation to site and from West Wyalong at the beginning and end of your shiftThis roster will be 5/2 4/3 and a 10 hour day.About the roleIn your new role you will plan, lead, organise and direct staff in order to provide maintenance and engineering services to optimise equipment reliability to meet Non-processing asset requirements in compliance with relevant maintenance strategies & statutory responsibilities.Your duties although not limited to will include the following:Effectively support and provide strong leadership for the development of tradespersonsProvide timely and effective management services comprising of:Daily Maintenance workflow supervision for area of responsibilityTimely follow-up (Short Interval Control) in line with the management operating system requirements.Identify variances against plan and implement corrective actions to rectify variancesAllocate appropriate individuals to complete identified corrective actionsReview corrective actions to ensure timely completionEffective Work Order Management with recording of historical dataEnsure equipment reliability is being delivered at KPI effectivenessDriving the continuous improvement and process control through the Maintenance businessWork with the Planning Co-ordinator and planning department to develop a short and long term plans / weekly plan and shutdownsDevelop and maintain a professional presence and relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAssist with budgets and associated activities as directed by senior ManagementProvide timely and accurate reporting to adhere to set deadlinesCollaborate to identify and implement improvements for all areas to decrease costs to the business ongoingAssist the processing maintenance execution team from time to time with major tasks and shutdown maintenanceProvide assistance in the management of the team and individual's performancesSupport team members with flexibility whilst instilling a climate and efficiency in all activitiesReports writing as requiredEnsure any Action Items arising from variances are dealt with by the Supervisor or escalated to the appropriate level for completion.Actively participate in team building with the team and other supervisors, other teams and their representativesA high level of safety focus at all timesAbout youYou will have people supervision skills and the ability to support, develop and assist your team to ensure the success of your area and maintenance in various departments within the mine site. You take pride in your ability to produce results and form strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.You will require the following qualifications, skills and experience:Trade Certificate in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplinesA minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory role or the ability to demonstrate supervisory capabilities in mining or heavy industry maintenance with 6 years post trade employmentPrevious maintenance supervisory experience in a variety of areas in mining (desired)Flexibility and the ability work in a team environment whilst motivating and encouraging othersCustomer focus attitude and an approachable attitudeInnovation and ability to use initiative for improvement and implementationEffective leadership skills and the ability to embrace change when requiredManage by facts/results and provide information to team membersBe consistent in your supervisory approachAn exceptional safety record and focus at all timesAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
