About the opportunityThe Maintenance Supervisor is a part of the Service & Warranty Team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to complete or co-ordinate defect rectification work on our homes in line with our contractual requirements and quality standards. More specifically, your responsibilities will include: Conducting inspections of new homes located across Adelaide's southern regionCompiling reports on identified defects Overseeing timely and quality completion of all identified work as per job sheetsCommunicating with clients to propose actions according to Service and Warranty guidelinesAssisting with the monitoring of Weeks maintenance team and contractor progressFollowing up outstanding works from our trades and contractors as neededAttending to works identified during the service and warranty periodEnsuring that all general maintenance as identified is completed to the highest qualityAbout youTo be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of Weeks Homes along with:A trade or construction background, preferably Carpentry or similar experience Leadership experience – managing trades and contactors An ability to communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance worksAn ability to prioritise effectively whilst ensuring exceptional attention to detailA full driver's licence to operate company service vehicle Willingness to travel to and from jobs as scheduledA positive attitude with the ability to work by yourself or within a teamOur commitmentWe believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being Australia's number one leading home builder and Employer of Choice in our sector.
