Your future in food starts here | Maintenance Supervisor THE OPPORTUNITY To supervise and lead the Maintenance team activities for the relevant shift. Deliver reactive and preventative maintenance support to ensure the plant has minimal lost time due to mechanical fault/failure and achieve optimal use of current and future mechanical assets.
About the role Location: Kilcoy ABOUT YOU Direct experience in a manufacturing operation, especially meat processingA proven successful management record in leading a repair and preventative maintenance team.Experience in MEX or a similar CMMSDemonstrated capability in effective Contractor management and coordination.Ability to work through change, drive continuous improvement initiatives and have exceptional communication, negotiation, technical and leadership skills.Knowledge of and experience in management of refrigeration, waste water, steam generation and environmental technology.A proven record of driving safety compliance and culture, including but not limited to, Forklift operations, EWP, working at heights and Confined space training.Preventative maintenance system experience.YOUR RESPONSILBITIES Supervising and leading the Maintenance team activitiesDelivering preventative and reactive maintenance supportEnsuring the plant has minimal lost time due to mechanical fault/failureAchieve optimal use of current and future mechanical assetsAdministering shift resources appropriatelyWorking closely with all production managers, other supervisors to deliver quality outcomesCommitment to the business and the ability to positively react to situations as they may arise, whilst finding the best solutionMaximising employee health and safetyQUALIFICATIONS Trade Qualifications with at least five (5) years relevant experienceExcellent communication, negotiation, leadership and technical skills.
