Our modern Rockhampton meat processing facility is located in Central Queensland, ½ an hour drive to the coastal town of Yeppoon and just over 1 hour south to the coastal city of Gladstone.
About the Role Teys Australia is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to join the Asset Management team based at our Rockhampton processing site in QLD.
Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, the role will be responsible for driving the mechanical maintenance team coordinating repairs, preventative programs and initiatives aligned with the group strategies.
The successful candidate will ensure health and safety practices are being followed and support additional training to eliminate potential risks.
The role will also be responsible for engaging internal and external stakeholders and working with our Environmental Officer to implement and monitor practices to minimise environmental harm.
About You Existing Trade QualificationsKnowledge of and experience in contemporary management of refrigeration, wastewater, steam generation and environmental technology.Current driver's license.Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership and technical skills.Direct experience in an export meat processing plant.Proven successful management record in leading a repair and maintenance team.Advanced computer literacy skills.Design and technical drawing skills.Detailed knowledge of the Export Meat Orders particularly in so far as they refer to the construction and maintenance of export abattoirs.To Apply: If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within a growing business offering excellent career development and opportunities, we encourage you to apply today.
