If you have shared values and appreciate a work environment that supports your growth, come and join us on an exciting journey.THE ROLELocated in Carnarvon, Western Australia and reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the role leads a team of Maintenance tradespersons in executing activities and ensuring asset management processes are consistently applied.The responsibilities of the core role will include:Overseeing daily maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.Supervising and training maintenance personnel, including scheduling and performance evaluations.Managing and supervising trade employees in maintenance activities.Allocating maintenance coverage for breakdowns.Resolving on the job issues (with regards to planned maintenance activities, maintenance shutdowns, etc.)Monitoring working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure safety of employees working in the area.Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and standards and keep documentation up to date.Planning and scheduling regular maintenance activities to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.AdministrativeMaintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs and parts replacement in the CMMS (Pronto).Identifying and ordering parts and raising required work requests.Communicating with stakeholders.Preparing and submitting reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues that arise.Maintaining records of training for maintenance personnel, ensuring they are up to date with the latest procedure and safety protocols.A full copy of the position description will be provided at the interview.ABOUT YOUTo be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:Minimum C Class driver's license.Completion of an approved WHS risk management course passing the legislative examination for a statutory supervisor.Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role (preferable in a mining operation).Providing safety and technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to your team of trade and non-trade personnel.Completing daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture.Ability to distribute work activities through the team using the workflow management principles.Work autonomously and meet deadlines.Prioritizing and managing breakdowns with the operations teams.Ability to manage budgets and performance metrics.High level of computer literacy and sound administrative skills.Salt and Gypsum processing experience (advantageous).WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary plus benefits.A great team culture.Support for growth and upskilling.ELIGIBILITYThis is not a FIFO or DIDO opportunity.
