Your New Role: Secure a permanent position within our well-established maintenance department at Middlemount Mine in the Bowen Basin.
Working a 7/7 rotating roster, duties include:
Lead by example coordinating the safe and cost-effective maintenance of all equipment, including documentation and reporting. Ensure maintenance and repairs are executed within safety, time, and cost requirements. Accurately record the daily activities and maintenance tasks. Build and maintain strong working relationships and effective, high-performing teams. Focus on continuous improvement, leading teams to develop and implement solutions. Promote and maintain a positive safety culture and record within the team. What You'll Need to Succeed: Trade certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent as well as previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor on a mine site. Demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams. Current Mining Supervisor – G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3). Current Carry out the Risk Management Process – G2 (RIIRIS402D). Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain). Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain). A current Queensland driver licence. If you're an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with an excellent work ethic, attitude, and safety-conscious approach, then we want to talk to you.
