Maintenance Superintendent

About the role:We are currently recruiting an experienced and highly capable Mobile Maintenance Superintendent to join an expanding mining group in the Bowen Basin. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this pivotal leadership role offers challenging and diverse work for you to bring your comprehensive surface mobile mining equipment experience to. The role will focus on providing safe and cost-effective leadership and guidance to sites mobile maintenance activities to achieve desired outcomes and optimise equipment performance.About you:You will possess solid exposure to the following:5+ years' experience in leadership positions, ideally in open cut coalSupervision of a maintenance team on surface mobile mining equipmentUncompromising safety knowledge and focusStrong systems knowledge ideally using Pronto CMMSAbility to oversee a multi-disciplinary team to successfully achieve targets/KPI'sAbility to work closely with other departments on site to ensure adherence to site safety, operating procedures, regulations and develop a strong, cohesive teamThe ability to drive short and long term strategic plans and manage budgetsIdeally you will have tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering or similar, but this is not essentialWhat the role is offering:The successful applicant will be offered a highly comprehensive remuneration package on an 8/6 roster with the option to either DIDO Central QLD or FIFO from Brisbane with flights paid.
