The Role: The Maintenance Specialist is the technical leader and the maintenance system owner.
Responsibilities: Responsible for eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses.Building capability in operating teams to deliver overall results.Implement, maintain and continuously improve the DMSs they own in their area that are Defect Handling, Breakdown Elimination, Costs Control, Work Execution, Preventive Maintenance and Lubrication to provide a continuity link to the MRE pillar.Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.Inspects work performed by team members.Tracks and logs workers time, materials, and other resources used for inventory purposes.Skills: Strong coaching, prioritizing, and training skills.Strong technical and practical equipment skills.Demonstrated skills in interpreting technical data to support improvement recommendations.Familiarity with structured problem-solving tools.Experience of using Microsoft Office (intermediate / sophisticated Excel) and other analytical applications.Willing to actively take part in planned stops and changeovers, flowing to the work as the need arises.Committed to self-development required of the role.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Abilities: Demonstrated strong teamwork skills.Effective interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.Ability to present to small groups.Ability to analyze and interpret data and information.Willingness to actively participate in pit stops and changeovers.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to identify issues and to settle repairs that are needed.The Kraft Heinz Company Australia & New Zealand is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces, promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
