In this hands-on role, you'll ensure all activities meet Health, Safety, and Well-being (HSW) policies, legislation, and standards while delivering top-quality service and operational excellence.
Please note , this role requires participation in emergency and after-hours maintenance services, ensuring swift and effective responses to urgent situations.
While the primary focus is on the Caboolture, Moreton Bay, Southbank, and Morayfield campuses, you'll also provide support at other UniSC locations as needed.

You will Coordination and supervision of contractors across building trade, mechanical and electrical services in the delivery of maintenance works; Manage the procurement of contractors and ensure works are completed on time, within budget, to the required quality standards and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements; Collaborate with Campus Development & Services (CDS) colleagues to provide a reliable and efficient maintenance service.
About you You are a skilled communicator with strong interpersonal abilities, enabling you to build productive relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Your analytical and problem-solving skills empower you to manage competing tasks and deadlines with ease.
Additionally, you bring valuable experience in financial expenditure and budget control, ensuring resources are managed efficiently to achieve successful outcomes.
You will possess: Extensive trade experience in building services, facilities maintenance trades, compliance and facilities contract support.
Experience in the use of electronic and digital systems including maintenance/building management systems, databases and spreadsheets.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant HSW legislation and practical application in the workplace.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including climbing ladders, working at heights and manual handling.
Current Queensland Drivers Licence (Class C).
