PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with our client based in the Hunter region on the lookout for a Specialist Lubrication Technician to support our client's mining operations.
This role involves inspecting, servicing, and reporting on lubrication systems for client equipment, both on-site and in the field.
The successful candidate will monitor heavy mobile and fixed plant equipment, assess lubrication performance, troubleshoot systems, and assist with minor maintenance tasks.
They will also be responsible for generating detailed reports and providing recommendations.
Key Responsibilities Ensure safety protocols are followed during all inspections and services.
Perform equipment inspections and produce reports in line with company and client standards.
Work independently, providing weekly updates and maintaining communication with key stakeholders.
Promote the client's products and services, supporting the company's reputation in the industry.
Maintain necessary certifications, including NSW mine induction and high-risk licenses.
Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations related to vehicle and equipment compliance.
Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on heavy equipment servicing and lubrication.
Qualification in a relevant technical trade (e.g., fitter, Deisel/Motor mechanic).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work autonomously and travel as required.
Valid driver's license and physical fitness for site access.
Proven experience with mobile equipment and fixed plant lubrication systems.
