Position Title: Maintenance Scheduler Department: Asset Planning and Support Reports to: Manager, Asset Planning and Support Position Type: Full-time, Contract position Location: Sydney Pay: $60-$80phPosition Purpose: The Maintenance Scheduler will coordinate and manage the maintenance programs, including planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities. This role involves providing direction to employees, assisting management in aligning strategic and operational objectives within designated departments, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate maintenance programs, including scheduling planned and reactive maintenance activities.Develop and implement programmed maintenance schedules and test point surveys.Support departments with work triage and scheduling.Provide maintenance forecasting and budget submissions based on delivery capacity and desired service standards.Monitor and report on operational activities and budgets, investigating and addressing non-compliance issues.Ensure operational safety standards are met and continuously optimise maintenance approaches.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate planned operational activities.Provide resource leveling for maintenance teams to align with planned work schedules.Maximize equipment reliability and availability through effective planned maintenance.Qualifications and Experience:Essential:Certificate IV in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in infrastructure maintenance (roads, stormwater drainage, open spaces, buildings).Current Class 'C' driver's license.Demonstrated experience with maintenance management systems, planning processes, and work prioritization.Desirable:Ability to plan, organise, inspect, and evaluate preventative/repair maintenance needs.Proficiency in predicting timeframes for various maintenance or repair jobs.High-level computer skills, particularly with maintenance management systems (e.g., TechnologyOne), GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Experience in roles requiring attention to detail and problem-solving.Ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage resources efficiently.Availability to work flexible hours as required.Work Health and Safety (WHS):Implement and comply with WHS policies, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments.Ensure safety in all work activities and adherence to WHS responsibilities as per guidelines.If you are interested in this position please call Olivia: 0406 560 343
