Our commitment to environmental responsibility and product quality drives our mission to reduce plastic waste and promote a circular economy.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityThe Maintenance & Reliability Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of assets, equipment, and systems across the manufacturing facility. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement reliability strategies, maintenance programs, trouble-shooting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise asset performance, minimise downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency.Your key responsibilities will be to:Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting complex reliability issues.Conduct reliability assessments, root cause analyses, and failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA) to identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.Plan and execute shutdown programs for optimal work delivery and effective start-up.Monitor and analyse asset performance metrics, reliability data, and maintenance records to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.Put into place procedures and operations which will effectively manage spare parts and consumables at optimum levels (MEX system).Coordinate all maintenance contractors including building maintenance.Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management on reliability performance, initiatives, and improvement opportunities.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:At least 7 years' experience in a technical management role, maintenance related supporting machines and equipment used in the injection moulding or any related industry.Demonstrated understanding and competence of plastic processing equipment in regard to electrical, robotics, PC, networks, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic processes to maintain and trouble-shoot/fault find such equipment including its ancillary equipment.In-depth knowledge of reliability principles, methodologies, and tools, such as RCM, FMEA, and condition-based maintenance.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
