Join us in this exciting role as we continue our partnership with Pacific National to bring the EVO class locomotives into service.We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, ideally with AC traction experience to support the EVO class locomotives. This role is vital in ensuring the reliability and performance of our advanced fleet.About Your Role:Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will:Participate in, and at times lead, investigations of in-service failures, analysing root causes and resolving critical issuesCollaborate with Asset Management to review task lists and develop work instructions for the Spotswood siteConduct daily fleet performance reviews and deliver weekly/monthly reports to Pacific National, performing trend analysis to enhance performance within budget and contractual limitsRecommend corrective actions and asset improvement initiatives, considering safety, cost, quality, and reliability.
