About the role Are you an experienced Maintenance Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic? Enjoy a long weekend with your RDO every month. Our role enables great work/life balance, working Monday to Friday 7.30am-4pm. Your work is 100% indoors completing hotel maintenance with some installs, and we offer stability and job security.
An opportunity has become available to join our Engineering Team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. In this role you will undertake preventive maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown repairs on Refrigeration & Air Conditioning systems across our three properties at The Ville Resort-Casino, Ardo and Townsville Entertainment Convention Centre.
About You Qualified tradesperson in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience ideally performing maintenance work within commercial properties.Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade qualification, along with restricted electrical and ARKTick licence are mandatory requirements.Effectively respond to breakdowns in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to uphold positive working relationships with colleagues and external contractors.Well-groomed, self-motivated and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Effective time management and organisational skills.Be physically fit for this active role, have a high attention to detail, including strong problem-solving abilities.About the offer and benefits Permanent Full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4pm.RDO - Working 3 x 5 day week and a 1 x 4 day week every month.Working 100% indoors completing hotel maintenance and no installs.All Tools supplied.Uniforms supplied and laundered on-site.Free car parking.Employee Assistance Program.Corporate discount on health insurance.Permanent career opportunities with pathways into leadership and management levels and between sister properties around Australia.About Us The Ville located in gorgeous Townsville boasting 300 days of sunshine every year.
