Maintenance Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Project Manager with a maritime background. You will be required responsible for the delivery of the maintenance requirements for the seaworthiness for naval vessels in far North Queensland.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Our client is an industry leader for the delivery of maritime sustainment and maintenance support for the Australian Navy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead / participate in maintenance planning activities.Work closely with multiple departments such as finance, supply chain and engineers.Management of Maintenance Availability schedule and activities.Manage subcontractors and supplies.Analysis and reporting of maintenance data.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.Must be an Australian Citizen.Prior experience as Maintenance Manager or Project Manager in Defence. Experienced In delivery of maintenance support services programs.Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving technique.Proven ability to lead, build, manage and foster a team orientated environment.Experienced in complex maritime maintenance management.Proven ability to work independently.Experience with Defence Technical Library, RPEQ certification and professional engineering requirements for the Navy.Role is based in Cairns, relocation assistance can be provided.
