Maintenance Planner Scheduler
12-month fixed term contract with a friendly and collaborative team.

About the role
As the Maintenance planner Scheduler, you are integral to the success of V/Line's NDAM Group. The purpose of the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role is to ensure that all maintenance activities are planned and scheduled effectively, adhering to the Works Management Standard and Procedure. This ensures that maintenance tasks are executed on time, within budget, and with the necessary resources.
Key Accountabilities include:
Developing detailed work schedules that are fully resourced and optimized for maintenance delivery.
Collaborating with the Regional Asset Manager and Supervisors to ensure accurate and effective planning.
Coordinating track access and permits to complete maintenance work.
Monitoring and adjusting schedules to address any changes or unforeseen issues.
Supporting the maintenance team by providing integral planning and scheduling support.
About you
The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail, capable of developing precise and optimised maintenance schedules while effectively collaborating with stakeholders. They are proactive, organised, and possess excellent communication skills to ensure seamless maintenance operations.

Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023 or Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2019).
