About the role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and based at our Portland offices, GrainCorp is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner with industrial planning experience. In this role, you are responsible for: Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule at the Port terminal Planning materials, resources, equipment, and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works Consulting with operations supervisors/leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively Developing cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work Maintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management, and job reporting systems About your experience Our ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with a preference for those with industrial experience. Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritization, and planning skills are a must in this position. You should also have: SAP maintenance planning experience is a must Strong mechanical/electrical understanding Awareness and understanding of budget constraints Ability to work effectively under pressure Troubleshooting and diagnostic capability Ability and willingness to travel #J-18808-Ljbffr
