Our Role We are looking for a Maintenance Planner or an experienced maintenance professional who is looking for a career move into maintenance planning.
The role can be located at either our Mole Creek limestone quarry and processing plant, 50 minutes west of Launceston TAS or at our lime processing facility in Traralgon VIC.
Key focus areas the role will include: Conduct maintenance scheduling for the Traralgon, Buchan and Mole Creek facilities (the what and the when).
Complete detailed maintenance planning for the location the position is based at Mole Creek or Traralgon.
Collaborate with the Production Supervisors, Purchasing & Inventory Specialist and Maintenance Supervisors to coordinate maintenance plan, shutdown planning, job kitting and contractor availability.
Develop standard maintenance procedures for routine reoccurring jobs.
Utilize software systems and team work to complete planning and scheduling of maintenance work.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications: Mechanical Fitter (or similar) trade qualification and experience or greater than 5yrs in hands on maintenance role in heavy industry.
trade qualification highly desirable, with transferable industry experience also well regarded.
Experience in Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software, management of work orders and MS Office proficiency.
Experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling within operations.
Knowledge and experience with spare parts management.
Experience managing third party contractors and suppliers.
Experience with quality systems (e.g.
ISO9001) desirable.
