As a Maintenance Planner, you'll work closely with the Planning Manager and project teams to develop work programs, schedules, and packages for complex maintenance activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work Programs & Schedules: Collaborate with the Planning Manager to develop and manage detailed work programs and schedules for all planned maintenance activities.Work Packages: Develop comprehensive work packages for survey and quote activities, defect rectifications, and engineering changes.Planning & Coordination: Oversee planning activities for all maintenance periods, working closely with the Supply Team, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.Project Close-Out: Assist in the successful close-out of projects alongside the project team, ensuring all documentation is completed and uploaded into AMPS.Reporting: Prepare and issue detailed reports on the status of work packages and overall maintenance activities.Continuous Improvement: Participate in lessons learned sessions, contributing to improvements in workforce productivity and planning efficiency.Procurement & SAP: Raise purchase requisitions for subcontracted work packages using SAP and support the execution of maintenance periods as part of a project team.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Planning Expertise: Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning within complex management programs, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Scheduling Tools: Familiarity with scheduling tools like MS Project or similar is highly regarded.AMPS Experience: Experience using AMPS or similar maintenance planning systems is essential.Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and project teams.Problem Solving & Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, using initiative and sound decision-making skills.QUALIFICATIONS Technical/Trade Background: Cert IV, diploma, or post-trade qualifications, with a strong technical or trade background.Work Package Development: Proven skills in developing complex work packages and planning, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in trade work planning activities, preferably in the marine industry.Computer Proficiency: Strong skills in maintenance management software (such as AMPS), as well as Excel and other MS Office programs.Project Environment Experience: Prior experience working in a project-driven environment is highly beneficial.Security Clearance: Must hold an active BASELINE Defence security clearance at a minimum.WHY KINEXUS?
