Tronox is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance Team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant.
The position is offered on a permanent basis working a 9 day fortnight on a compressed 38 hour week.
About the role The Event Maintenance Planner is accountable for the Planning and discrete scheduling of complex, multidiscipline major overhaul work on site.
Under the direction of the Maintenance Planning Leader, the Event Planner is accountable for ensuring that planned maintenance tasks are fully planned, resourced and communicated prior to handover to the Maintenance Teams for execution.
Key responsibilities include: Maintains an uncompromising focus on operating safe, reliable, and responsible facilities, considering safety in every aspect of plan development.Ensures environmental practices for planned work align with the Pigment Plant's Environmental Management System and meet all statutory requirements.Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with Tronox personnel, service providers, contractors and external customers by living the Tronox Values & Behaviours.Utilises a systematic and strategic planning approach to ensure long term maintenance and budget goals are established and met.Identifies and includes all stakeholders in plan development to ensure a comprehensive work package is developed, delivered and executed.Liaises with contractors and suppliers to ensure all resources, hire equipment, and materials are utilised cost effectively while meeting required maintenance quality standards, budgets, and timelines.Uses the site's ERP to develop accurate and comprehensive plans and schedules, ensuring all corrective work relevant to the functional location is included in asset overhaul and repair, with forecast costs aligned with planned execution timelines.Participates in monitoring progress during execution to produce and maintain a scorecard showing compliance against agreed KPIs for each maintenance event, while capturing issues and actions ensuring improvement of future outages.Embeds a culture of continuous improvement by developing and adapting procedures and processes to increase efficiency and improve outcomes.About you To be successful in the role you will need:
Mechanical Trade Certificate (required)Previous shutdown or maintenance planning experience in a process plantA minimum of 2 years planning experience in a similar field (required)SAP and Prometheus Maintenance planning experienceAdvanced skills in MS ProjectStrong skills in all other Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong desire to do the right work, the right way, at the right timeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise work in a dynamic working environmentValid Driver's LicenseIn return for your commitment, you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package that includes:
