Because we believe every surface is an opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, your key responsibilities will include:Maintenance Coordination:Championing the weekly planning cycle, extended maintenance shutdowns, and weekly planning meetings with production.Developing targeted weekly plans for various departments in the plant for in-house mechanical and electrical trades as well as external contractors.Providing accurate weekly maintenance KPI completion reports, tracking PM and regulatory compliance, capturing all break in work and schedule adherence.Timely prioritization of repair of faulty plant and equipment and predictable delivery of preventative maintenance.Maintaining and documenting equipment specifications, history, parts/materials in MEX database.Providing a hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment while supervising field activities to ensure high quality outcomes.Actively participating in daily morning maintenance meetings to prioritize and coordinate works required for the day.Coordinating maintenance through site contractors and acting as a point of contact for third-party service providers.Learning and developing understanding of site processes to optimize planning approach for effective execution.Safety:Ensuring that all activities and work undertaken are compliant with the site HSE policy and guidelines.Issuing permits to work to in-house and external contractors to ensure safe execution of works on site.Compliance:Ensuring that all work and actions are compliant with local and statutory authorities' guidelines and regulations.Maintenance Spaces:Ensuring maintenance spare parts inventory meets agreed levels with Engineers and Plants.Sourcing quotes from suppliers, raising shopping cart to generate Purchase Orders, checking quality of supplied parts, and completing the GR process.Reporting:Producing weekly maintenance reports on a range of KPI's to keep Managers informed of the work undertaken for the plant.Capturing all completed work orders on site via CMMS system.Continuous improvement of the CMMS, including generation of new and optimization of existing Preventative Maintenance plans.Updating maintenance records and critical parameters on a consistent basis.What we offerIn return, Akzo Nobel will offer:Career Pathway and Training: As a Global company, we offer career pathway and training to help you achieve your career goals.Don't settle for base salary increase: Potential to earn more, on top each year!Free utilization of onsite physio every Wednesday, free annual flu vaccination, and monetary assistance for health and wellbeing programs.Want to stretch your dollar further?
