Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) Our client, a well-known provider of specialised shutdown support across Australia, is looking for several experienced Maintenance Planners / Schedulers to join their team.
This role is ideal for candidates with a background in managing fixed plant maintenance projects from planning to completion, maintaining master schedules, and supporting teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Position Overview: As a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and organizing maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations. Key duties include:
Creating project schedulesManaging contract agreementsEnsuring data accuracySupporting teams across departmentsYou must be skilled in using SAP, Microsoft Project, and Excel to successfully manage these responsibilities. Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, are also essential for this role.
Key Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role (5-10 years' experience preferred)Strong skills in SAP, Medium/Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel and Project) for planning and schedulingGood English communication skills, both written and spokenRelevant Trade Qualification and experience in fixed plant maintenance advantageous but not requiredAbility to work well with diverse teams and communicate clearlyAble to work in remote and isolated mining sites, living in "camp" style accommodationThis is an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals seeking a stable and rewarding career in Australia.
