Maintenance Planner
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Maintenance Planner to contribute to Council's success.

Support delivery teams through the implementation and adoption of a new Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to enhance planning efficiency and data integrity. The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain efficient maintenance plans and to ensure materials, labour, tools, tasks and instructions are available for the effective execution of planned maintenance work. The role will focus on delivering road maintenance planning, however, will look to diversify skills and experience in support of various Council assets.
Your role will include:
Demonstrating strong problem solving skills and strategic thinking to plan and manage road and civil maintenance activities. Collaborating across departments to coordinate cohesive planning efforts and enhance data management practices. Showing adaptability and resilience to support change and lead delivery teams through the transition to new systems and processes. Employing strong organisational and time management skills to balance and prioritise multiple commitments and expectations effectively. Fostering a collaborative mindset to encourage and guide teams through innovative changes and process improvements. Committing to continuous improvement and driving efficiencies within the maintenance planning framework. You will bring:
Tertiary qualification in Asset Maintenance Management or related discipline, and/or demonstrated experience working in a similar role with comprehensive job specific knowledge and specialised skills developing effective maintenance plans. Extensive experience and demonstrated skill in investigating alternate approaches and recommending solutions for unique and/or complex problems affecting work control and planning. Proven experience in conceptualising and communicating (verbal and written) major elements of work planning to technical and non-technical personnel. Experience using CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems. Why work for GRC?
