As a Maintenance Planner at Laminex, you will be instrumental in coordinating and planning maintenance activities across our Ballarat sites. This role is perfect for someone with a strong organisational mindset who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be working closely with our maintenance teams, operations staff, and contractors to ensure that our facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Your Day Will Involve: Leading the planning and scheduling of corrective (CM) and preventative maintenance (PM) work orders, liaising between site maintenance staff, operations, and contractors.Preparing maintenance plans for review and agreement with maintenance and operations teams, ensuring alignment with production planning requirements.Identifying the correct work instructions, parts, tools, labour, and equipment needed for each job.Ensuring timely completion of regulatory maintenance activities, including collecting and reviewing service reports and compliance documentation.Tracking planned vs. actual performance in work order management, including schedule compliance.Conducting formal planning meetings with all stakeholders.Promoting a safe workplace and fostering a culture of safety and compliance.What Are We Looking For? A team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.Hands-on experience in planning and leading maintenance activities, preferably within the manufacturing industry.A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and work within defined timeframes.An understanding of the governance and protocols related to purchasing, issuing, and maintaining spare parts inventory.Familiarity with maintenance regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a sound understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like MEX or similar.Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and workplace diversity.Why Join Laminex?
