About the role
Reporting to the QLD Maintenance Manager and based at GrainCorp's Gladstone/Mackay/Emerald offices; the Maintenance Planner is responsible for:
 
Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for QLD country operations Planning materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance worksConsulting with operations supervisors / leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicingPartnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectivelyDevelop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance workMaintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance historyContinually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems About your experience
Our ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with preference for those with multi-site experience. Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills are a must in this position. You should also have:
 
Planning experience in CMMS (SAP desirable)Strong asset management background in materials handling/fixed plant/mobile plantAwareness and understanding of budget constraintsAbility to work effectively under pressureAbility to apply complex problem solving and critical thinking techniques Ready to apply? / How do you apply?
