About The Role
As BUMA Australia grows, we are seeking a full-time Maintenance Planner to join our team on an 8 days on and 6 days off roster at Burton Mine. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner will ensure that the site has timely and complete maintenance schedules and detailed job plans for mobile and fixed plant life.
Responsibilities Include Work with Maintenance Superintendents to ensure quality maintenance performance, including asset availability and reliability.Ensure all equipment compliance is in date and compliant.Preparation and delivery of the weekly maintenance plan for equipment.Providing technical support and advice to the operation.Managing work order data and maintenance documentation.Controlling maintenance expenditure.Interacting during execution events to continuously improve planning accuracy.Develop task plans for the execution of both routine and one-off maintenance activities.Schedule day-to-day servicing of all equipment and major component change outs and equipment overhauls.Identify critical spare parts to be held in stock on site, setting these parts up in stock with sufficient Min Max levels.Review standards and processes associated with the role, identifying areas for improvement and either implementing those improvements where it is within your authority, or recommending the improvement to the Maintenance Superintendent.Identifying and proactively initiating maintenance improvement opportunities. About You Trade certificate or tertiary qualifications.Significant experience in planning and scheduling.In-depth knowledge of plant and machinery within the mining environment and provision of consistent maintenance, planning, and servicing practices.Knowledge of mine operation regulatory and legislative requirements.Ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a team.A strong work ethic and an eye for detail coupled with the ability to work autonomously, work to deadlines and within tight time frames.Right to permanently live and work in Australia.
