MAINTENANCE PLANNER AND ADMINISTRATOR EFI Group is a leading provider of Specialized Maintenance Professionals who work as an integral part of our clients' team supporting them to increase plant efficiency and maintain their high-end manufacturing and processing equipment.
We are currently sourcing a professional Maintenance Planner and Administrator to join our team based in Laverton.
You will be working closely with the site Reliability Manager to ensure the reliability and efficiency of site equipment, reduce downtime and support the overall success of maintenance operations.
The overall purpose of the Maintenance Planner is to: Schedule all preventative maintenance (PMs) according to our maintenance strategies or service agreements Manage inventory levels to ensure spares are available for all scheduled PMs Review completed PMs for follow up work that needs planning and scheduling Manage the backlog to ensure maintenance requests are planned and scheduled in a timely fashion Compile and report all Reliability metrics/KPIs to the site leadership teams Complete 6 monthly inventory stocktakes Procure nonstock parts and materials for planned maintenance or as directed by the Reliability Manager/Lead Prepare and print the weekly plan/schedule in collaboration with all stakeholders To be successful in this position you will have proven experience in: Previous maintenance planning or scheduling experience or trade experience in the mechanical or electrical fields (2+ years) Understanding and use of SAP in a maintenance environment for planning and scheduling General knowledge of common parts, components, and their terminology used in electrical, mechanical and process machines or equipment Knowledge of MS Office; Outlook and Excel and know how to use Excel functions and troubleshoot Ability to read and interpret machine diagrams, P&IDs and PFDs Reliability principles and asset management This is a day shift position (8am to 4pm) with a $100K salary and opportunities to work within this high-end food manufacturing company are rare.
