Our adventures capture the very essence of Australia, from the rugged red cliffs of the Kimberley to the unspoiled natural wonder of Tasmania, we bring iconic experiences to life. We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime. The Role We are currently seeking seasonal maintenance staff in our various camps and lodges across northern WA, NT and Far North QLD. This role requires you to maintain the buildings, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees. You will be responsible for undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance in a manner that does not disturb guests. You may also be required to assist with supply tuck driving as and when needed. Some Lodges require mechanical experience where the role is hybrid maintenance/mechanic. Key responsibilities include: Maintain buildings, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors, and employees. Action repairs and maintenance according to priority Utilise the most efficient and cost-effective means to ensure maintenance requirements are met Assist with repairs, service, and maintenance of the fleet Drive to pick up supplies when needed Ensure the quality of work undertaken complies with defined procedures and delivers outcomes consistent with the business plan objectives Ensure correct interpretation & compliance with relevant legislation, OST and Journey Beyond policies Negotiate with suppliers for provision of service & materials required Ensure all required data, work scheduling and purchase orders are maintained and updated into the relevant systems in a timely and accurate manner Requirements To be successful in this position you must have attention to detail, the ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise and have exceptional communication with strong customer skills. You must have general technical knowledge and experience and good sound knowledge of safety regulations with an understanding of relevant building codes.
