As the Maintenance Officer in Melton South, Sutton Park Residential Aged Care Home, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our Residential Aged Care Home. Your ability to foster strong relationships with residents, contractors, and suppliers will be a key part of making sure every day is the best it can be.
Hands-on repairs and maintenanceGeneral maintenance; painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves, and designing garden layoutMonitor stock levels of consumables and re-order where requiredRespond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional mannerTo be successful, you will have:Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environmentRelevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experienceCurrent valid drivers' licenceEvidence of Australian work rightsNDIS workers Screen (or willing to obtain)2024 Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinationsA pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this roleOur benefits:Our culture is both supportive and collaborative, where you can make your role your own.
