We are currently opening one role of maintenance officer for the team of Riverside Oaks Golf Resort!
About Riverside Oaks Golf Resort:
All staff at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort are involved in maintaining 2, top 100 rated Golf courses to the highest standard and the successful applicant will be an integral part of the redevelopment. This position will have seasonal overtime and unique learning opportunities to develop a broad range of skills.
Located just over an hour's drive from Sydney's CBD Riverside Oaks Golf Resort is set on 587 acres of natural Australian bushland bordering the Hawkesbury River and Cattai National Park. Riverside Oaks boasts one of the best practice facilities in Sydney, a 36-hole golf resort with 2 championship golf courses, Accommodation and magnificent dining and function facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance and Repair: Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement of resort facilities, including golf course grounds, clubhouses, kitchen, accommodations, and recreational areas.Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all machinery, HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Budget Management: Prepare, monitor, and control the maintenance budget, including expenses for repairs, upgrades, and staff requirements.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance practices align with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and address any hazards.Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs, renovations, and specialized services.Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of necessary tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and reducing downtime.Staff Management and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance team members, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.Energy and Water Efficiency: Implement strategies to reduce energy and water usage across the resort, optimizing costs and promoting sustainability.Key Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably within the hospitality or resort industry. Familiarity with golf course maintenance is a strong asset.Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
