About the role.
As a maintenance officer you'll support both Parks and Facility Maintenance. Your primary focus will be on to carry out general maintenance within parks and facilities. While also assisting other departments as needed. Your responsibilities will include:

General garden maintenance i.e. Whipper snipping, edging, mowing.
Cleaning and repairs to urban drainage system, including pits.
Other roadway/street maintenance and/or cleaning as required.
Other duties as may be directed from time to time.
Supporting other departments as required


Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Current Drivers Licence.
Current White Card.
Experience in maintenance duties on road, footpath, parks and gardens and/or drainage assets.
Ability to perform various tasks involving heavy lifting, climbing into high cabins of plant, climbing to secure loads, etc
Experience in civil works or parks and gardens maintenance
A strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
Understanding of OH&S guidelines.
