About the Role You will be a part of the Maintenance team who pride themselves on delivering an efficient maintenance service for all Nature Parks employees and assets in the general maintenance function, and to ensure effective asset maintenance and minor construction works across the Nature Parks precincts on Phillip Island, to the highest possible standard.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist the daily operations in managing maintenance of assets and facilities.
Review and document safe work procedures and processes as required.
Provide support for workplace audits and actions as required.
Provide support for preventative maintenance programs.
Support implementation and maintain proactive maintenance schedules for plant, tools, vehicles, and equipment allocated.
Complete emergency and breakdown tasks on assets.
Operate tools of trade efficiently and safely.
Complete scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on assets.
Operate within the asset management system to update maintenance records.
Implement sustainability principles into all maintenance activities.
Comply with relevant Australian Standards and legislation when performing maintenance duties.
Read and understand drawing and directions.
Follow lock out procedures on plant and equipment when required.

Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in general maintenance.
Trade experience in either carpentry, plumbing, welding or electrical.
Capable computer and data entry skills.
General maintenance skills.
Experience with Asset Information Management Systems is desirable To commence your journey with us, the following is required: Cert III in a carpentry / plumbing / electrical / metal trade.
Working with Children Check Manual Drivers' Licence First Aid Level II and CPR
